Eurodam VE or V?

I am trying to decide between a VE on deck 5 verandah deck or a V on deck 8 navigation deck. Both are mid ship which is what we want. I know the VE has the smaller balcony. Is the view from deck 8 enough better to justify the extra $$. ? WE have never had a cabin on the upper decks..

We were given V8057 as a free upgrade, and we've had other deck 8 verandas on Vistas. The V balcony is 7 ft deep (as compared to 4.5 for the VE) but the view is not dramatically better. I'd say book a VE guarantee and hope! (We've been upgraded on all 8 of our guarantees.)
