max a million Posted February 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2011 I have read other posts indicate they haven't been assigned a stateroom yet. When I reserved my stateroom, I reserved an actual stateroom by number. Does this mean that it could change and they'll let me know prior to departure? Kinda new to this. valleyvillage Posted February 11, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2011 ...something else. If you have a specific cabin number, that is your cabin. They are talking about GTY cabins where they can put you anywhere as long as it is in the category you book or higher. These GTY cabins are somewhat cheaper than the specific cabin booking. Dayenu Posted February 11, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2011 You can make a reservation for a specific cabin number, or a "guarantee". If you reserved a specific cabin number, it will not change. If "guarantee" - it means, they can put you anywhere that's available in for the price you paid (or sometimes better if you're lucky)
