Cabin Assignment

You can make a reservation for a specific cabin number, or a "guarantee".

If you reserved a specific cabin number, it will not change.

If "guarantee" - it means, they can put you anywhere that's available in for the price you paid (or sometimes better if you're lucky)

I have read other posts indicate they haven't been assigned a stateroom yet. When I reserved my stateroom, I reserved an actual stateroom by number. Does this mean that it could change and they'll let me know prior to departure? Kinda new to this.

very unlikely, in fact almost impossible. Those posting all choose the guaranteed catagory.
