Help-not sure where we were on 7 Mile Beach?! want to go back!!

Hello,

 

My FI and I were in GC 2 years ago and rented a scooter. We drove around a bit and found a spot on 7 Mile we loved. I remember we went left out of the port and drove for a while and parked. It wasn't a resort but there was a bar. I know this is kind of vague but I am hoping a GC native or someone who goes there often could help out. It wasn't too far from the port.

 

We are going back in 2 weeks and are hoping to cab it there with the whole family.

Do you remember what the area where you parked looked like?

 

Huge parking lot with white concrete gates? (Royal Palms)

Small parking lot that looked directly out onto the beach and some picnic shelters? (Sea Grape/Public Beach)

Street parking along the edge of the road only, near a cemetary? (Cemetary Beach)

 

Some other description? If you have a few more details, we can probably narrow it down to a likely area...

If the bar was kind of an outside place, with colorful signs to the north of the main beach area, it sounds like Public / Sea Grapes beach the bar is Calico Jacks.

Could also be Beach Colony Club.
