My oh my what a minefield!! ... We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on the Celebrity Constellation in April 2011. Still confused about drinks. Do you have to pay for all drinks including water onboard?

Or are they free in the main dining room? If they are free in the main dining room why would anyone need to buy a Soda package? HELP?? Loving all the advice from everyone especially the lady with the lists... I love lists!!

All "water-based" drinks, and ice water is included in your fare. Milk, and juice at breakfast are also included.

You will pay for specialty coffees, sodas and alcohol. You can pay for bottled water, but there's really no need...the ship's water is fine.

If you don't buy the soda package, you can still get soda by the can....so if you don't drink alot of soda, that's the way to go. It should run about $2.25 (give or take a few cents) per can...about what you pay in a hotel vending machine!

The only included drinks are tap water, regular coffee and tea, milk and some juices. If you order juices in the main dining room, such as orange/apple/tomato for breakfast those are included. But if you order juices in bars or lounges, there is a charge.

Soda is not included at any time, including meals. If you drink a lot of soda, then the package is a good deal; if you drink only one or two a day, then it usually isn't. Also, the soda package is for fountain soda (including plain seltzer) only. One other thing is that the soda package cannot be used for room service orders because soda delivered by room service is by the can.
