MTD Never Ending Question

Recommended Posts

After 12 previous cruises we have decided on our next cruise (2-26-20ll) to try MTD dining on the Oasis of the Seas. We are a couple and don't want to sit at a table for two and also we don't want to make a reservation, for we live on such regiment lives at home. Has anyone had the experience of showing up between 6:00 and 7:00 on deck 5 and what was the procedure, etc?

Wow, neighbors!

I've used MTD on 3 cruises, as well as on the Oasis. I'm not sure how they would handle seating you with other groups/couples unless another group came in at the same time and wanted to be seated in the same manner as you are requesting.

Perhaps there are other couple interested in sharing a table. Leave your name with the hostess.

Whether you get to sit with others will depend on the others! So many folks like to "be alone", for some reason. We enjoy tablemates alot, so we always do traditional....it's not really as "regimented" as you might think, and it assures you of a table with others, especially if you're at a larger table. We do prefer that.
