Did You Make it to CocoCay Recently?

We're sailing the Majesty on friday (wooooo hoooo!!!) and i'm

conducting a poll-of-sorts to see if people have been tendering

to CocoCay lately.

 

So, did you make it there or did you skip it, and when did you

sail?

We were there about four weeks ago and yes, we made it and loved it. The weather was warm and perfect and the food was good. It was a totally relaxing, nice day. I know they don't always get to stop but I hope you do and enjoy it as much as we did.

I was also wondering about it. We are headed there in 2 weeks. This will be our first time to Cocoa Cay and hoping we make it as well. :)

We're sailing on the Majesty Feb. :confused:21-25 with a planned stop in Coco Cay. My question is, why wouldn't they stop there if it was on the itinerary?

We skipped it in 2007 due to bad weather.

 

Based on posts on here .. this stop is skipped 25% or more due to weather.

 

There is no dock and people must be tendered. Bad currents, waves, weather, storms and it is not safe to tender.

We were there on Jan. 30 and made it. Had a great time!

I was there on February 4th and it was great. Tendering was no problem and the barbecue on the beach was delicious. Perfect weather !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were on the 12/17th sailing 2 months ago - made it

We were on the 1/7th sailing last month - too windy and wavy and it was skipped

 

So 50% for us over the last 2 months.

We were there on the Navigator on Dec 29th. Day started out cool/overcast but by afternoon sun was out and it was a beautiful day. Our tour guide on the jet skis told us the water that day was as calm as he'd ever seen there.

Hi,

 

Supposed to go to Cocoa Cay on Monday. Weather prediction is Sunny and 10 MPH winds. Is that too windy for the tender? Anyone have any ideas about how rough the seas will be with 10 mph winds?

 

I guess I'm concerned about a possible cancellation :confused:
