Florida_cruisers Posted March 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2005 My last cruise was mid-November to the Eastern Caribbean and the weather was pretty warm. I wore shorts and we even hit the beach in St. Maarten. Now I am thinking of doing a cruise in December 18-23rd to the Caribbean (San Juan, Bahamas and Dominican Republic), but I am wondering if the weather would be warm or just mild?? Kyra Posted March 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2005 dh and I took a western caribbean cruise last december and it was in the 80's I would guess at our ports of call. It looks like the itinerary you are looking at is more southern so I would think that it would be pretty warm there also. also another point to consider, I am in Colorado, so to me 80 degree weather is like summer, but I see you are in Florida where it is considerably warmer so you might find 80 degrees a bit on the cool side. cruisingfreak Posted March 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2005 We usually cruise the caribbean in Dec. The temps are 80 or above & water temps get warmer, the further south you go. Minette
