CupKayke Posted February 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Anyone know which floors the laundry rooms are on? There is a laundry room on each deck. Depending on your deck, it will either be in the aft or the forward section. Deck 5 - Upper Deck has the laundry rooms in the aft section. http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/cruise_control/pdf/ADASpiritClass.pdf - That is a link to the deck plans
Sargent_Schultz Posted February 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Not quite every deck and some are in the middle. You can locate them on this deck plan: http://www.zydecocruiser.com/CarnivalSpirit/Hawaii/ShipMap/index.htm
Linsuesue Posted February 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2011 There is one right across from cabin 4230 on the Main Deck. The deck plan that we were given last August shows laundry facilities on the aft of decks 4 and 5, front of deck 6, about 2/3rds of the way back on deck 7 and middle of deck 1. debt Posted February 16, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Does anyone know what the cost per load to wash/dry is and can you use your room card to pay for it?
runner15km Posted February 16, 2011 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2011 $3.00 wash or dry, quarters only. You will need to go to the casino and place 1 quarter in a slot machine and sometimes you get back 100 quarters. :D
PimpTastic Posted February 16, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 16, 2011 GoCCL has new interactive deck plans for all Carnival ships. Unlike the regular deck plans, these deck plans show where the laundry rooms are located. https://www.goccl.com/irman/bookccl/...shipboard.HTML
PimpTastic Posted February 16, 2011 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Can you use your room card to pay for it? No, they only take quarters. It would be nice if Carnival upgraded the machines to allow room cards to be used. The technology is out there as many colleges have laundry rooms that allow the student to use their student card to pay to use the washer and dryer. MagnoliaFly Posted February 16, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 16, 2011 No, the iron is free to use. Sweet! I'm bringing hexagons to sew together and will need to dash to the ironing room once in a while.
