New cruiser/white noise question

We usually sleep with a fan turned on for the noise. We really don't want to lug something extra along. Do the bathrooms on Carnival have exhaust fans? We are hoping they do and that it would work for noise.

I don't know about the exhaust fans, but I am taking a small noise machine. It produces white noise as well as a variety of other noise, such as an ocean. They are cheap and can be purchased online or at Wal-Mart.

i take along a portable camp fan i bought at walmart for 11 dollars pretty compact and if you plug it in instead of batteries its very light

No exhaust noise I can hear. Might be all the ship noise though, but I dont hear it. No exhaust switch.

Thank you all. Not sure what we'll do. We are really trying to keep it light as far as packing and bags. We don't like to check our bags.

If you have an iPhone or Android phone, you can get an app that creates white noise.

There's an app for that, if you happen to have an iPhone. I have to sleep with white noise and headphones to drown out hubby's snoring. I used to take along a small white noise machine, but no longer...the iPhone works just as well.

Carnival is confiscating electric fans on many ships. I take along a small white noise machine that is also a clock (there are no clocks in the cabins).

I didn't want to deal with white noise machines or iPhone apps. So I did a search for 'white noise' and found a white noise website that offers many different white noise mp3 sounds, including a great fan sound. They also offer the sounds on CDs.
