DVD's

Are there DVD's available in the Courtyard Villas or do we have to bring our own? When we stayed in a OS on the Dawn they were provided.

I am pretty sure the Gem got rid of DVDs now that they have PPV movies. Hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

No DVD's in Romance suites on Gem in spring of '10 even though it was listed in the suite perks. Had them on the Gem in '08.Not sure about villas.

DVD's readily available in AD on the Pearl January 2011....all we had to do was ask our butler.

On our cruise on the Dawn we did have DVDs available from our Butler. The available library of movies were quite outdated. I think that NCL is changing the ships out to PPV and so they aren't concerned about getting new DVDs.

Thanks for the info . We can always get some DVD's from netflix as lkong as they still have the DVD players.

We are doing a family cruise on the Gem in May. I plan on bringing a lap top and use it a DVD player. With the right cables it can be plugged into the TV's...I have a feeling the DVD players have been removed too...Supposedly the Gem and the Epic are the only ships where the DVDs have been removed and PPV movies are offered.. :mad:
