Kon Tiki party boat

My DH and I are thinking of taking this tour. We have never done a party boat and it sounded like fun. Any recent reviews? Anything we should know?

 

Oh btw does the boat get rough at all - DH was fine on our catamaran tour last year in St thomas but he got very sick on another one in St Martin?

The KonTiki stays basically in the harbor and around Water Island, so its typically pretty calm.

Kontiki is one of my fav's I have done it 3 times...lol.....I had to force myself not to do it last time in St. Thomas....but I can recommend it if you want to just have a total laugh...if you take offence to people drinking and getting loud and silly then don't go on the kontiki....if you are up for an absolute blast then you will have a ball....the kontiki has a glass bottom and you just sail around the harbour...they go to a private beach for an hour or so and you can play volleyball etc....Lots of fun, if thats the type of thing you enjoy...I'm in my 40's and my friends and I laugh our heads off the entire time...they have a live band and will be doing the congo and limbo too...LOL

FYI...the Kontiki does not actually go to a private island. It stops at Emerald Beach (aka as Lindbergh Bay) which has a couple of hotels on it.

The Kontiki goes to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island which is often sparsely populated on weekdays. It also goes/used to go to Lindbergh and sometimes to Brewers Bay fairly often but as of the last year or so its mostly at Honeymoon on Water Island that I have noticed.
