Cabin 8009 on Regatta

I am a O newbie

I booked this cabin, which is a PH2 instead of a "true" midship PH1 because it right near the forward elevator. My wife has trouble walking long distances and it seems that more things (that we would use every day) are forward rather than aft. We are about to book the 25 day Sydney to PPT cruise. I have read that crossing the Tasmaian Sea can be very "rough" at times. Should I book a suite closer to midship or stay where I am.
