TakemeOnACruise Posted February 25, 2011 Author #2 Share Posted February 25, 2011  Can anyone help me out here? Please??
serene56 Posted February 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Yes, they do- but a limited supply. Make sure your agent has it marked on your reservation. Either see the Cabin steward or Pursers desk when you FIRST get onboard to request yours. You also want to take your own sheets, etc.
TakemeOnACruise Posted February 25, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Great, thanks for responding serene56. I would prefer the pack n play over the metal crib for sure.
serene56 Posted February 25, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2011 How old is your child? We used the drawer of the sofa for a bed for a 18 month old but I do not think the Imagination has the sofa let alone the drawers
TakemeOnACruise Posted February 25, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted February 25, 2011 He'll be 18 months when we set sail!

serene56 Posted February 26, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 26, 2011 I do not know if you can take the pack and play off the ship. You can use the camp stuff from noon until 2 for play time. (you gotta stay with the kids though. awesome time to get rid of some of that pent up energy then we took naps. after dinner we went to the outside promanade deck and let her run. an umbrella stroller is necessary. anything bigger will not fit in the hall ways especially when you have the carts that belong to the cabin stewards. take plenty of diapers. disposable sippy cups,

(you gotta stay with the kids though. awesome time to get rid of some of that pent up energy then we took naps. Days and times may vary by ship. I would check with Camp Carnival that first night. I know that I showed up with DD on a sea day at 1 and was told "no dice."
BaskGal Posted February 27, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 27, 2011 I agree...bring your own pack and play and an umbrella stroller. I also took a small bottle of dish detergent to wash out bottles in our cabin.
azlefty Posted March 1, 2011 #13 Share Posted March 1, 2011 On our most recent Carnival cruise (Glory in 2008), they gave us a metal folding crib in our room but the kids club had pack & plays.
rin1 Posted March 2, 2011 #14 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Ditto, we were also on the Glory. What I learned upon my second call to Carnival is that if you get the right PVP they can look up the specs on what is actually on your ship. Good luck!
