Big group booking different ways- same dinner table?????????

My mom and sister planned a cruise for September 2011 on the Liberty. There are going to be 6 more people (including my DH and myself) that will book on the same cruise, and as is natural we all want to sit together in the MDR.

My question is as follows: If they booked through and agency and I book through Carnival's website, will we be able to arrange our dinner seating so we can sit together? :confused: Please help.

Gather your booking numbers and get them linked. Either their TA or Carnival can do it for you (because you booked thru Carnival)

You call Carnival and ask to be linked to the other people - provide at least one name and their booking number. Then they call their travel agent and give your name and booking number. That should get everything linked.

If you have all of the booking numbers, you can do it by calling Carnival. But you do need all of their booking numbers, not just their names.

You can call Carnival and give CCL their booking #'s and they will be linked OR they can call their travel agent and give them your booking # and get it linked.

And if all else fails, go see the maitre de when you board the ship and he can arrange it for you. We had to do this a couple of years ago. I booked thru Carnival, one friend booked thru Travelocity, another booked thru some other site and still others booked thru a travel agent! But, he (maitre de) was able to get all 8 of us at one big table. Your much better off to do it beforehand though, as others suggested. :-)
