Post-cruise we stayed at the Thomas Bond Bed & Breakfast located half a block from the Sheraton.

 

We definately recommend the Thomas Bond B&B. The rooms are smaller, but lower priced and you get a continental breakfast during the week, more at the weekend; wine and cheese at 5:30pm, cookies at night. We met some very nice people during our two night stay, that was the best part. The B&B is 4 easy walking blocks from Independence Hall. We also recommend a meal at the City Tavern just across the street from the B&B.

 

Thomas Bond B&B is beautifully decorated, located near restaurants, historic places, and is a $12 taxi ride from the Philadelphia pier.
