Is Fuel Surcharge coming?

Do you think a Fuel Surcharge is coming? Not sure what effects it has on the cruiseline, but sure it is skyrocketing for them as well........Just Gasoline here at home is up .35 cent in 6 days. $3.49 at the pump here:eek:

try using the search feature. no one knows, but there have been at least 10 threads about this already.

I am sure that the cruise lines are pondering it and how to deal with it. Last time they got such grief that they are not anxious to reinstitute the fuel charge for sure. They like happy cruisers- not losing in court for whatever the reasons were. And having their customers grumbling about it.

Didn't know that was going to get everyones pants in a wad.......... I tried to delete the post with no success. Maybe everyone will still live........

What the heck. If CC wanted they can close the thread. Everyone can iron their pants. If CC was a joke discussion everyone would just post the same joke over and over since most of the discussions are repeats and questions that could be answered with a 2 second Google search.

Nobody knows that..

They may or may not.

Perhaps after the last nonsense with skyrocketing costs, and the outcry from cruisers (who love to complain and grouse---blaming it all on the cruise line, of course), they may have taken care of it already.

Cruise prices overall are way up from even just a year ago......perhaps avoiding a fuel surcharge is one of the reasons.

Just sayin'

As long as people keep saying its inevitable, there is a chance the suits will think we've already accepted it and reinstate it. Every time I see this thread I complain that I'll switch cruise lines if you're the first to charge it.

Well, there are dreamers and realists.... I like to think I am a realist ! And if you think that changing cruiselines is going to be the best way for you to retaliate, I guess that's OK too, but if doing so, know that when the first cruiseline reinstates it, the others will follow shortly after and probably will include the cruiseline you elect to change to !
