S suite corsages and boutonnieres

We are in a S suite next July on the Rotterdam. Do you actually wear the corsage/boutonniere on your first formal night?

Did not see anyone wearing it on our last cruise but must say i did not look for them either.

If we travel with a lot of other people, yes. If it's just us, usually not.

DH always wears one of the carnations on first formal night, but I am reluctant to pin one on my silk clothing.

I always add them to the flower heads floating in the little bowl.

 

The last cruise when we were on EUrodam we ran into that issue with one of our friends. She incorporated it into her hair. :)

When we book a suite, we are always seated with other "sweeties", so we are not out of place wearing the flowers.
