Elation- Which OV room?

Looks like the Elation has lowered prices and I am getting ready to book an ocean view room. Which level is the best? I would like midship. Any other advice? What upgrades do I not want if I am offered any?

You want to be careful of whats above you and whats below you.

Avoid being under the galley.

The pizza kitchen is opened 24 hours a day.

Try to get a cabin that is directly over and above other cabin space. Get cabin that has as many beds as you need. You do not want a roll away for any extra person.

This ship has dead ends. Getting a cabin as close to the aft elevators is also a plus- these elevators take you to the food/pools with minimal traveling

Why does the price change within 15 minutes of looking online? Any better prices with calling Carnival? I am a past guest. Just a few minutes ago it was 749 and now its 829.

carnival prices are across the board. Its a cruiseline that does not allow discounting.

going to carnival web site will allow you to look at the different rates.

Early saver rate, fun saver rate, past guest if its available.

Price of oil is going higher and higher- I only think the price of the cruise is going to go higher. If the price of oil does not stabilize you might get a oil fee later of 75.00 per person.

OVs are nothing special. There is a wooden built in table on the wall by the window, so if your bed is together, one king, you have to crawl over the bed to stand by the window.

same size as a inside.

any PTs left ...but then you wanted midship.
