cruisers beware just got off the dream and castway was cancelled because of winds people upset all othe cruise have tenders that go in not the dream if its a windy day you will loose that port great cruise anyway

Overly windy days will stop tenders too. The tendering process is a pain - I'm glad Disney does not use tenders for their private island.

Glad you still had a great cruise.

This is not specific to the Dream. In the interest of safety, none of the Disney ships will dock at CC if the weather conditions aren't good.

It's also not unique to Disney. We were on a Princes cruise a few years ago that didn't stop at their private island because of weather/sea conditions.

We just returned from the Magic and our Castaway Cay stop was initially postponed due to two medical emergencies. It was eventually cancelled due to inclement weather. It's actually comforting to know that Disney puts the safety of their guests first.
