Recent experience with new C&A on board benefits

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd post our experience with the new C&A welcome aboard package for D+ members last week on Serenade. Earlier posts I read indicated very hit or miss responses to "preferences". I was very pleased to see that our preferences were just as requested. We each received the individual bottles of Alice White wine and the cheese was very tasty and came with crackers. Nuts, cookies, and dried fruit rounded out the package. Our D+ amenity, however, was delivered to the cabin, not the MDR as requested. I did take the bottle to the MDR before dining time and asked that it be kept there as I had formerly requested, not wanting to pay a corkage fee. I had to wheedle a bit, but the young man in charge of the change of seating requests finally did accept the bottle and it was on ice for me at dinner that night. No corkage fee!
