Booking within 1 to 2 weeks before sailing?

I am trying to book at cruise leaving March 26th or 27th for 7days. I am planning on booking on the 15th. Has anyone seen a good price drop then. Is it better to work with the cruise lines directly or with TA that close in.

 

I have found 19 cruise leaving in that time frame with in driving to the ports for me.

By that time, the prices for the cabins left may have gone way up. I would to looking now.

With most sailings if they decide to drop the price they tend to do so about a month to a month and a half before sailing...but you never know!

We are on NCL Pearl during that time and the price has gone down just in the last week to 699/pp for a balcony, which is less than what we paid...

On the 26th out of miami,don't know what i am aloud to say but just look up all cruises out of miami on the March 26 , same price as the inside. it goes to San juan, St. marteen, cant remember where else
