Radiance vs Serenade

I was just comparing the Radiance and the Serenade on the RCCL.com website. Now, since these are "sister ships" in the same class, I would think that the staterooms are basically the same, with a few differences. But, the E1 balcony rooms on Radiance are listed as 184 sq ft, and the E1 balcony rooms on Serenade are listed as 159 sq ft. The balconies are listed as different sizes, too. Does anyone know if this is true, or possibly a misprint? I'm booked in an E1 on the Serenade for October, and wondered if the room is really that much smaller than the Radiance E1 staterooms?

Hello it could be that the Radiance is a newer Ship then the Serenade, however I thought the standard balcony in the E-2 was around 179 + balcony

The Radiance is the oldest of the 4 Radiance-class ships.

 

Radiance - 2001

Brilliance - 2002

Serenade - 2003

Jewell - 2004

E1 on both the Radiance and the Serenade is 179 + balcony.

 

BTW Serenade is a newer ship than the Radiance.

I suspect it is a miss print. The Radiance is older then the Serenade. Radiance maiden voyage was March 10, 2001 and the Serenade maiden voyage was Aug. 1, 2003.

Jewel is also listed at 159 sq ft, while Brilliance is listed at 184 sq ft for the E1 staterooms! Strange. Must be another misprint on the new website, since all 4 ships should be very similar.
