Been a while since I've been to Barbados. Does the Emerald Princess dock? Also how close to town are you when you get ashore?

Are you docking in Bridgetown? Most likely you will dock. Walking distance to town and you can catch the public bus for $1 per person each time you board the bus

You will dock at the Bridgetown Port.

There's no other option for cruise ships stopping at Barbados.

 

Younger more-able folks do the 15-20 min. walk into the city shopping center

older folks may want to take a short 5 min. taxi ride.

A lot depends on just how hot it is, that day -and what kinda Night Before you had... :)
