Wookie01 Posted March 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Hi all, Gathering info for our first cruise and was wondering what the temperature is like in the inside areas of the ship, such as corridors, dining rooms, theatre etc? (Our cruise is an Eastern Mediterranean on Equinox in early October.) Is it short sleeves, cardigan etc please? I assume that the cabin airconditioning can be set to personal preferences? TIA, Graham :)
Rare cruisestitch Posted March 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2011 There is no definitive answer to your question -- some people find the ships too chilly, some find them too hot. Many women bring a shawl or a sweater to the main dining room and the shows. There will be a temperature control device in your stateroom.
Route6A Posted March 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2011 I was on the Equinox for two weeks this fall, and the only area that was uncomfortable was the main dining room on the second floor, where it was far too warm in the evening. We always asked to be seated in the first area near the entry door, where it was less stuffy. Other than that, it was comfortable throughout the ship I suggest you do take a shawl or sweater for indoor use as some find that it's too cool in some areas.
