Port of Miami hotels

Hello... we are coming in the night before our cruise. What is a good/not to expensive hotel that we can stay at that we can keep our car at while on the cruise?

I just booked a room with Holiday Inn Miami @ the airport for $92.88 with tax via a popular name your own price travel site. You might want to check that venue.

HIPOM (Holiday Inn Port of Miami) is a good option, but when we stayed there, by the time we would have paid the daily rate to the hotel to park and a cab to and from the terminal, we would have spent the same amount as we did just parking at the terminal:confused: So we just parked there and had an easier time getting out of the terminal area and FLL where we were flying out. Were able to stay on the ship a bit later as a result of not having to wait in the taxi line;)

 

Marriott Courtyard Inn Downtown Miami is another good choice. Both hotels are within walking distance of Bayside Marketplace, which has a pretty good selection of eateries for the night before. However, if you're really in the mood for a splurge, look up D'Rodriguez in SOBE - the food and the service are incredible:D We loved it when we were there in October.

We booked the IC hotel, with last minute travel. internet rate was over $400 we got it for $160.

Parking for a car though would cost ya.

 

I got IC for $84 last fall, same source. You must be staying there during season to pay that much.

We used Hampton Inn - Blue Lagoon. They have PARK STAY and GO rates. Also have restaurants around the property, grocery store across the street. Drug stores on the corners..
