EileenN Posted March 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Does anyone know of any improvemnts for the handicapped going to Megan's bay? We have a wheelchair and walker. Do the drivers get farther into the parking area? Thank you for any help you can offer.

EileenN Posted March 18, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted March 18, 2011 Thank you, I'll try over there too. Sometimes those of us with handicapped problems look at our surroundings in a different light.
jim_stormie Posted June 8, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2011 I hope someone has been there recently. it's been a yr....we took an accessible van to the beach n stayed for most of the day. unfortunately jim had to stay up on the deck. the ramp going up into the restaurant is a little sketchy..no sides if i remember correctly n right next to the dumpster. i pushed him up n was able to get a table on the deck in the shade. it's not the most accessible place :(
rascalrider Posted June 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2011 EileenN, why don't you email the taxi driver who has the wheelchair trolley and ask him where he lets the tour off at the beach? gumbstaxi@viaccess.net Let us know how you make out.
