How much cash to save for the auto-tip at the end?

From what I understand, all tips are automatic, and billed at the end of the cruise. I'm on a 7 day cruise on Crown Princess (Western Caribbean). For 2 of us, how much will they calculate the auto-tip to be, not including meals/bar/etc.

I'm assuming the bar tab will include its own auto-tip, based on how often you bought drinks. But the room steward should be the same, every time, right?

For the record, we signed up for Anytime Dining. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Princess will deduct $10.50 PER PERSON per day for your auto tip ($11.00 PER PERSON per day for mini suites and full suites) per day. That would mean your auto tip combined will add up to $21.00 ($22 if in a mini or full suite) and be automatically charged to your shipboard account each day. This will be billed to your credit card at the end of the voyage, along with any other charges you made onboard during your cruise, (or you can settle up in cash the last night onboard).

Total auto-tips on your 7 day cruise is $73.50 per person for regular rooms or $77.00 per person if you have a mini or suite. This covers all staff including waiters and room stewards. They will also add 15% to the cost of wine & drinks that you purchase. This goes to the bar staff. Also if you order room service most tip from $2-$5 depending on what you order. You are not required to pay any additional tips unless you wish to give your room steward or waiters an additional tip in person. Have a great cruise.

Although many do tip additional for room service, you should know that room service personnel do share in the daily auto tip.

Yes, since room service staff are waiters they do share in the daily autotip.

...so, depending on how you intend to pay your final bill at the end of the cruise, you don't need to have actual cash on hand to hand out to anyone; it'll be on your final statement, due and payable before you get off the ship. You can of course pay that bill in cash, or credit card (or debit card; however you arranged to pay it when you boarded.)
