VicKen Posted March 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2011 One of the reviews I read mentioned that if you arrange for private transporation that there is one line for them and another line for taxis and it took over an hour for the van driver to get to the front of the line to pick up their disembarking passengers. Can anyone confirm this? Since we are a family of 5 I arranged with a company in Seattle to pick us up at Pier 91 and transfer us to the airport. Maybe I should walk my luggage off to avoid a long wait and missing flights home?
Saruman Posted March 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2011 Done it twice with no problems. Van was there within 10-15 minutes of checking in.
Dan G Posted March 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2011 there is a 'staging'' area for vehicles. Once your off and can call they dispatch the 'van' or whatever you arranged.
VicKen Posted March 16, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted March 16, 2011 Thank you so much - hopefully the review I read was just a fluke - could not imagine that would be the norm but I had to confirm due to flight times and a 85 yr old travelling with us.... VicKen Posted March 25, 2011 Author #8 Share Posted March 25, 2011 We are using A Plus Town Car for our upcoming cruise - great reviews and they were responsive and reasonable - that being said we've haven't used them yet - going in late May.
