LAcruiser2000 Posted March 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2011 We have a cruise booked in September, thru Costco. I just checked the prices again, and Princess is currently having a 3-day sale and our room price dropped by $700 – huge savings. I called to see if we could get a refund, but they said this is for “new bookings” only. :( Has anyone had any luck in getting price adjustments/credits in these scenarios (Does the squeaky wheel get the oil, or is it hopeless cause?)
Loonbeam Posted March 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Nope. One thing they are very strict on is New Booking promos.. You can cancel your original and rebook at the risk of losing your current cabin hold in some cases (and depending on Costco's policy) We have a cruise booked in September, thru Costco.I just checked the prices again, and Princess is currently having a 3-day sale and our room price dropped by $700 – huge savings. I have no idea what they would do to enforce it. Mrs. Pablo has a different name than I do, and when I wanted to do this, my TA made a new booking with the other last name first. Worked fine, other than her name was on the phone for the entire cruise.
