Mazatlan Cancelled Through August 2011

After careful evaluation of recent security concerns in Mazatlan, we have decided as a precautionary measure to cancel calls there on the Carnival Splendor through August 2011, as well as on the Carnival Spirit’s April 1 departure.

Alternate itineraries for Carnival Splendor’s seven-day cruises call for Mazatlan to be replaced by an additional visit to Cabo San Lucas.

 

On the Carnival Spirit’s nine-day voyage departing April 1, Mazatlan will be replaced with a call at Manzanillo. Following this voyage, Carnival Spirit will reposition to other homeports to operat...e the line’s Hawaii and Alaska cruise programs.

How WEIRD when we saw the Spirit shown on another cruise site to be traveling today from La Paz to Mazatlan?? I thought they had reinstated the Maz port??

I am so very sad we will not be going to Mazatlan on our

April 1 cruise. Stone Island is my favorite! I am also very sad for the people of Mazatlan. Adios Mazatlan, perhaps we will return some day!
