Caribbean Princess - Brooklyn port embarkation time?

Just wondering if anyone knows when the port opens for check-in ?

 

The boarding pass states 1pm but i know the actually opening time is usually a few hours before the time on the boarding pass.

In July 2010 I arrived at the port at about 11:00am and Princess was already checking people in.
