Thanks Rather than tackling each port individually, I might refer you to the following web site for details about Iceland, Faroe Islands, and Bergen. http://www.*****.com/TOTW.html In Iceland I would recommend going with a tour company, however, the one we had was an old taxi van with a driver who did not speak much English (no recommendation). http://www.*****.com/Iceland1.html On the Faroe Islands we had a great tour in a small bus (max. 16 people); however, the company can also do that for a smaller group. See other post in this section about Faroe Islands, the name of the tour company and other details are covered there. From Antwerp I would take the train to go to Brugge instead of Brussels. Again, the following web site covers details about that pictureque city. I would not bother with a guide in Brugge. It is very easy to do on your own (along with hundreds of other tourists). http://www.*****.com/Brugge%205.html Happy travels.
MSPCUBS Posted March 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 26, 2011 Lair Bear - Am I missing something? You said "See other post in this section about Faroe Islands, the name of the tour company and other details are covered there." I am not sure where to check. I looked at your site and read about the tour you had, but didn't find the name of the tour company you used. Thanks.

Lair Bear Posted March 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 28, 2011 Lair Bear I thank you for all of your information, which side of the ship would you recommend booking a balcony cabin I am sailing on the Top of the World Explorer cruise? Thanks I don't think that really matters, but we had cabin 120 on port side. Most of the time we did dock along the port side, so we had a view of the dock areas. When you look at the deck plan of the Prinsendam (assuming that is the one you will be on), you can see that cabin 120 (and the one above and across) have a small jog in the balcony. This provides some great views aft and still maintains the larger balcony area. I kind of explained that in the following http://www.*****.com/Prnsendam.html You can see a picture of Sharon pointing to it.
