Should we do Trogir from Split

We are in port from 9-4.

Is it worth it to do a side trip to Trogir or should we spend all our time in the port touring Split?

I would rather not do both if you can't do either well.

that's kinda hard to answer. Everyone has their own travel style; some like to study every detail and other's are happy to give a glance as they walk by.

My plan was to go to Trojir as soon as we docked, then spend time in Split. Sadly we slept until noon and barely had a couple of hours to see Split. I would take that question to TripAdvisor and get ideas from the locals there as to how much time they suggest for Trojir.
