Electrical Converters on Paul Gauguin

LifesAway

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on the Society / Cook Islands cruise on October 8th, 2011. I have read that the voltage on the ship is 220v but that there are 220v and 110v receptacles in the bathroom and in the stateroom. Can anyone tell me if they are separate outlets and do the 110 receptacles use the standard North American two prong, round ground plug? Or, do we need to bring a converter? It would be to charge camera batteries, etc.

Thanks for any help!

There is one outlet (with both types of power, one of each) in the bathroom, one at the vanity and one by the refreigerator in our stateroom. We brought our converters cause we were staying on Moorea first and Papette later so we had plenty of power.
