cruzinchris Posted April 1, 2011 #26 Share Posted April 1, 2011 I'll ask "Stewart" to top off the Dom Perignon in my balcony pool when he makes his rounds twice daily :D Cheers! Chris
itzmered Posted April 1, 2011 #27 Share Posted April 1, 2011 I used mine on our last cruise to keep our keg cool, Stewart filled it with ice for us every day :D
mfk68 Posted April 1, 2011 #28 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Hmmmm, you guys all sound like amateurs. I havent heard of anyone bringing along the sand to surround the pool. That makes all the difference in the world. It really makes up for the days that you miss the tender ports.
RebelSoul Posted April 1, 2011 #29 Share Posted April 1, 2011 While you're at it, maybe they could lend you a bartender so you don't have to get out of the pool to fill up your drinks. I bet Ted Lange is probably available for the job. :D
dmwnc1959 Posted April 1, 2011 #30 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Do you think they would mind if the blow up pool also had a slide? Maybe my balcony neighbors wouldn't mind if we removed the partition so we could also put down the slip-n-slide?
DanJ Posted April 1, 2011 #31 Share Posted April 1, 2011 No, fishing off of balconies and kite flying off of balconies are strictly prohibited, however, they will even bait your hook aft on Promenade, and you can let out the kite string aft on 16. ;) Well, we all know the real reason they are taking Skywalkers off the Grand is to make room for the new kite deck on the roof of the new one five club LOL

Grizabellachinchilla Posted April 1, 2011 #33 Share Posted April 1, 2011 I did this very thing on my last cruise...you can imagine my shock when I entered the room and found my Steward swimming laps Love it. How ridiculous to expect a steward to fill a wading pool. Stock up on bottled water and use that. Alternatively put the pool up by the main swimming pool where it can be filled with water sloshing over as the ship rolls. Then carry it very carefully down to your cabin. BTW it is still April 1 here - just. Thanks for the fun folks. GC
