guernseyguy Posted March 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2005 What have recent experiences of Todd English been like? Any differences between Lunch & Dinner? On a Crossing is it open for both, and which nights are Formal? Questions, Questions Questions! Any perspective greatfully received!
cruisr Posted March 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2005 Hi, Just disembarked yesterday and dined in TE twice (both for dinner). I love it. For $30. it is quite the bargain compared to his prices in his NYC restaurant. The Short Ribs are to die for as well as the Molten Choc. Cake. Of course, the onion foccacia is brilliant. It was not open that much for lunch due to under utilization. I did the maiden crosing into NY last year and it was not used that much during lunch either. What I like is that they have a small bar in the restaurant that serve great tapas. ALso, the price has been lowered on Chef's Galley to $30, for dinner and that includes wine with each course. A great deal. Bon voyage.

Jane Pond Posted March 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 10, 2005 Boy, Cruisr, we were like the proverbial ships passing in the night! We ate dinner once at TE and it was wonderful. I lved the gnocchi appetizer, some of the lightest I have ever had. I also had the chowder which is also a good appetizer. Most of us had the fillet, however, and the molten chocolate cake. I wonder if one can use the bar if not having dinner, it is a lovely spot. I wondered if his lunch times were closed on port days only. I never really bothered to check it out.
