Cruises from Newcastle on Spirit

I've just googled 'Newcastle cruise ship terminal' trying to find out if there is transport from the city centre to the cruise terminal and among the results was one headed 'Cruises from Newcastle'.

 

Will be of interest to those planning a cruise on Spirit next summer, I think.

Easiest way to get from central Newcastle to the cruise terminal is by taxi. There is a metro line but the station is about a mile from the terminal. Just remembered, there is a coach service from central station as well.

Last time Thomson cruised from Newcastle there was a shuttle bus from the train station.
