Yippee Princess Trisha is back online!!!! Girl you got me thinking about jumping from Disney and RCCL to Carnival oh by the way am I seeing correctly are you going back on Carnival's Dream at the end of the year? If so I hope that you do another one of your reports. I had been waiting for this trip report since you mention it on the dis site. Well I am glad that you decided to continue this great report! I don’t know if your familiar with some of the cruise critic gurus on this site Trainman, Radio, Bionic man they write some of the best trip reports over on the RCCL boards and girl you are right up there with them, reading your report makes many of us feel like we were on the cruise with you!

Mmmm, mmmm good. My baby cow sure tasted good.

You are KILLIN' me Smallz (from the movie, The Sandlot). You should be the headliner at Punchliner's! Now, come clean up my screen....................BWAhahahaha.

One quick question - on your B2B did you ever have conversations with the staff about the next possible tour shift? I am traveling on the Dream July 2nd of this year and will be terribly dissappointed if the Piano Bar is a drag. Any info is appreciated.

Chick.

I will be continuing my review shortly :D.

Thank you everyone for reading along, I am very glad that (most) of you are enjoying my review.

I have debated on whether or not to post anything further to the comments about my "questionable parenting". I've decided NOT to.

Frankly, I don't care if you think me irresponsible.

The only person who can tell me how to act on a cruise ship is the person paying my fare - and since that's me - well, let me just say sweetly with a fake southern accent, "Y'all have a REAL nice day, and don't let the door hit ya, where the good Lord split ya".

Yah!!!! you're back and making me laugh again. As a mother of five (all grown) let me tell you that there is no one proven way to parent. If there was there wouldn't be so many books telling you how (all with different advise).:)

more, please! I have waited all day for this installment and im greedy for more! :D

BTW, I am the momma to 4 awesome kids and I dont see anything wrong with letting a nearly 18 year old hang out at a supervised club in a supervised space geared towards the same general age group. Its not like she was wondering the streets at all hours  I get so tired of judgmental people!

Asking a question isn't judgmental, but why don't you let it go, the woman is going ahead with her review, so no need for the constant swipe.

Just wait until they start asking if you want the senior discount...first time at a grocery store I almost punched the checker until I found out their discount started at age 50.:D

LOL...I DID get a senior discount already...YEARS before I am entitled. I went to an out of town Rite Aid early one morning after a late nighter....:( and checked my receipt when I got to my car and saw the senior citizen discount....looked at myself in the rear view mirror and said right out loud: I DESERVE it today. Went home and unpacked the bags and crawled under the covers for the rest of the day!!! :o:p

I got back to the cabin feeling like I should be shopping for depends and a walker. I settled down for a glass of ovaltine, some crackers and to watch my stories.

Just kidding (and no offense to any older ladies who actually do the above; you keep rocking it grandma).

LAUGHING OUT LOUD!!! :D :D :D Although I'll admit..... I'm only 30, but I do love my stories. ;)

This is hilarious! I can't believe that mom/daughter duo that sat with you at dinner. How can you really split those little entrees? And why would you want to? And HOW do you get full from a baked potato and bread? They sure did miss out.

Keep the review coming! :p

Actually, they're back to back on the Disney Dream (a 4 day and a 3 day). I'm taking my parents so we have an accessible veranda cabin on the 5th (right next to the theatre). I'll do a review of that but it'll be over on that other board. And with the parents along, I'll be sure to take pics of all of our food as well on those cruises.

Just with some of the bar servers and restaurant servers about when their next vacation is.

You might want to check out John Heald's blog - I think he posts the piano bar rotation on his blog occasionally.

THANKS... (and Becca too)... this is one of the reasons I love CC and reviews like this, so many details to pick and choose from. Little tidbits and nuggets in everyones stories! and you sure write a good one! Now I have to consider if we want a 2 top or share a table with others. We have only cruised 2 other times, with 8-10 people, so this is our 1st trip as a couple... do we have to request a 2 top?

Depends on what dining option you chose when you booked. If you chose Any-time dining, then you shouldn't have a problem asking for a 2 top. If you picked early or late seating you may be at a large table. When you board the ship go by the dining room and look for your table (the table number will be on your S&S card). If it's a large table wait til the assigned time (will be in yourFun Times...usually around 230pm) and go to MDR and speak with the Maitre'd about getting a 2 top. They almost always will be able to accomodate you.

First I just love your review. Hope you enjoyed your cruise and will go on another one. My favorite part was the dinner you shared with the thin gal. Us Fluffy ladies always get a kickout of the gals who just about eat. Food is there to enjoy. The best part of the MDR is to try out different things.

You mentioned in your review that you love reading you KoBo. I have a kindle and it goes everywhere with me. You mentioned that you managed to finish your 8 series books. My sharing the series you were reading. I love reading series books. I just finished Robyn Carr Virgin River series and loved it.

Thanks. and I can not wait for the rest of your review.

Very funny update. I loved the comment about the Ovaltine and crackers.

The behavior of the mom & daughter that you shared a table with was quite odd to me. Maybe they did not know that you could eat as much as you want?? Maybe they had a big lunch?? I am petite, but always enjoy my own entree and appetizer in the dining room thank you very much. To share everything (esp when its free!) is just plain weird IMO.

YOU ARE AWESOME!!! I always knew you were cool enough to ignore those need to be ignored!

As I was leaving (I went towards the washrooms so towards the mid ship elevators and the jackpot bar) I hear, "maam! maam!" Now I'm only 36 so when I hear the word "Maam" I look around for the older lady who is being called. And then I hear, "Maam, maam! I really like your shoes. The buckle is very cool."

I wanted the floor to swallow me up. He was talking about my shoes. There was some 20 somthing sitting at the bar calling me "Maam". I have never felt so old in my life.

I mumbled "thanks", headed to the washroom and then used the midship elevators to go back to the cabin (instead of passing by the Jackpot bar again, lest I hear that offending word).

LOL! I am only 30 and get called "Maam" ALLLLLL the time too! But I also get carded all the time, even in Europe where the drinking age is 18. So trust me it does not mean anything!!!

I bet he was from the South b/c when we lived in Louisiana the kids in school had to call all the adult females Maam. They considered it polite. Being from the north my kids had always got in trouble when they called me Maam (where it was said with attitude).

Please keep it coming.

It's Charlaine Harris and her "Dead" series featuring Sookie Stackhouse. I found out it's the basis of the tv show "true blood". After 8 books the characters are far too real in my head for me to even contemplate watching the tv show though (no matter how much I enjoy the books).

I had meant to read the 4th book in Dean Koonitz's Frankenstein series but accidently downloaded book 3 instead of 4 and didn't discover it until I was already on the ship.

They knew they could each order whatever they wanted, and eat as much as they want, they just chose not to. And I understand up to the point where they didn't like the lasagna. After that it just became a little surreal when the 14 year old is eating fruit and shrimp coctail and the mom is just having a baked potato.

Please keep it coming.

It might have been someone from the South. It was just so hard to hear because I am used to be called "Miss" if someone wants my attention. I'm 36 and occasionally still get carded in the US going into a casino. I was actually denied a drink last year in Disney World because I didn't have ID on me to prove I was over 21.

Enjoying your review and I am another one that checks CC multiple times a day to see if you have updated.

Those book are very awesome. While I knew the TV show True Blood was based off the books, I look at it as a another show. It didn't stop me from screaming at the TV when I did finally see Season 1 (which is based off the 1st book). Have to still watch Season 2 and 3 but don't think I can. Thinking my head will implode if they don't follow the books exactly.
