I am wanting to book a Disney 2012 transatlantic cruise. Does anyone know when they will release the dates for a transatlantic? Will Disney do a transatlantic in 2012?

First - - WELCOME to Cruise Critic!

 

There's a whole lot of speculation at the moment as to whether DCL will be operating on "the other side of the pond" much longer. It seems the line is less than happy with the response to the Med cruises. There's supposed to be a big announcement this week, and there's a lot of buzz about Magic possibly operating out of Galveston and/or New York in the future. So the bottom line is that there might not be a transatlantic next year. We really won't know until after the announcement later this week.

The rumor is that DCL will be sailing out of NY for summer 2012, so probably no TransAtlantic. :(

That's been pretty much confirmed today - - New York in the summer months, Galveston in the winter.

We had really hoped to do a transatlantic on Disney in 2012. Now we'll have to decide if we want to do Disney or transatlantic. Too bad.
