kalves Posted April 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Where and at what time do the children meet to eat dinner with the kids club? We have late seat dining and I thought it would be nice for DD to be able to eat early with the kids club then have a snack at the late seating dinner with us. Woods61 Posted April 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2011 We just got off the Disney Dream. The first afternoon we toured the club with the children and were told that they could eat lunch in the club at noon. We did not ask about the dinner time. The next day, we took the 9 year old and six year old to the club at 11:15. They planned to eat lunch there. When we went to check on them at 12:30, we found out that they had not heard anyone say that it was lunch time. We went over to look at the lunch that was available. It looked like pale food on a school lunch cafeteria tray. We were under the impression that the food was served buffet style, but perhaps that was only for dinner. There were no group activities going on in the lab at the time we entered. Children seemed to be happily and quietly working individually at the computers. There seemed to be more directed activities going on with the smaller children whenever we went by their area. We did not return to the club. dexddd Posted April 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Our son was in the lab on the last day of our trip on Saturday. We took him in around 5:00 pm as he wanted to take part in some activities and our intent was he would go to late seating with us as normal. He self checked out around 6:30pm and came to the room and said he had dinner (mac and cheese is what he ate, not sure what else was offered), so dinner must have been around 6:00 ish. He didn't eat a ton so he was still hungry for his regular dinner.

ace6636634 Posted April 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2011 Wow, these are not good signs. Agreed. I'm second guessing my booking. Thinking of canceling.
