newbie snorkeling in freeport... does time matter?

We're first time snorkelers in Freeport. Will it make a difference if we go at 9am or noon? I know it isn't a bit time difference, but I know that fishing is better the earlier in the morning you go, so I'm thinking the earlier you snorkel the better chance you'll see something??? Does that sound right?? Any advice out there?? Thanks so much! I'm learning a lot here!:D

Go to your local Walmart, Target, Petco, or wherever is convenient for you, and pick up a small container of fish food pellets. Put them in an empty water bottle (to which you add ocean water once you are in it) then dive down a few feet and squeeze. Or from the surface, just toss the pellets a few feet in front of you. You will see plenty of fish.
