angiegal Posted April 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2011 We're first time snorkelers in Freeport. Will it make a difference if we go at 9am or noon? I know it isn't a bit time difference, but I know that fishing is better the earlier in the morning you go, so I'm thinking the earlier you snorkel the better chance you'll see something??? Does that sound right?? Any advice out there?? Thanks so much! I'm learning a lot here!:D
beargrass1 Posted April 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2011 There will be little if any difference in the fish that you will see between these two times. Just pick the one that is best for you. The big changes happen when it gets dark. different fish come out at night.

WillieD13 Posted April 8, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Go to your local Walmart, Target, Petco, or wherever is convenient for you, and pick up a small container of fish food pellets. Put them in an empty water bottle (to which you add ocean water once you are in it) then dive down a few feet and squeeze. Or from the surface, just toss the pellets a few feet in front of you. You will see plenty of fish.
