Carnival Airport Transfer - New Orleans

Flight gets in at 10:20, was it dumb to book the bus transfer??

The information says they usually don't start running until noon :confused:

I personally would jump in a taxi, because I want to eat lunch at the buffet and not miss any of my cruise.

 

Iv used the cruiseline shuttle twice ....but only after the cruise...but I always fly in the day before too. I refuse to risk my cruise because a flight might experience problems.

Dumb? Not at all. One thing to know is that by using the bus for transfers,,,, the bus will not leave for the port until the entire bus is full. You could be waiting a while. You have to listen to their schpeel about tips, etc,etc. When you get off the bus, now you have to scramble with 60 other people grabbing their luggage, getting the luggage to the porters, then scrambeling with those 60 people to get inside to stand in line to check in.

 

Got the transfers myself the first time..... Next time, and everytime after, I paid for a taxi

I waited an hour for out bus to fill last time. It was just me so I didnt want to pay for a taxi. The bus hadnt filled in an hour, so as per policy it took off. And I think I was the first person who boarded, so I waited the full hour.
