Manatee Sanctuary Park in Cocoa Beach......questions

We will be in Cocoa Beach pre-cruise in three weeks, and will have a rental car. Have heard about this park, where you can view Manatees in a cove. Thought it would make an interesting visit. Anybody have any experience with going here? What is the best time of day to spot the Manatees? Any help would be appreciated.

It is actually in Cape Canaveral behind the Radisson hotel. Nice little park. Stop somewhere and get lunch to go. Its a nice spot for a picnic.

we went first thing in the morning and waited till about 8:30am before they showed up. They come up very close to shore to rub on the rocks. Make sure you take your camera.

Oh, fantastic! Dh and I will definitely visit the Park before our cruise next month.
