Best bars on Carnival Freedom

We had to change our cruise from the Destiny to the Freedom on May 15. Anyone have opinions on the best bars on Freedom

The first night on the ship we did the martini tasting special at Bar Nouveau (deck 5 aft) - 5 flavored martinis for $15 + gratuity. It starts at 5pm I believe. Our bartender, Mr. B, was a really nice guy.

 

For the rest of the cruise we spent our sea days up in the Serenity area so we used the bar up there. And our nights were spent at the Punchliner Comedy Club in the International Lounge. Everyone made really good drinks and the service was spectacular everywhere we went.

 

You're going to love the Freedom. :)

Now I had read that there is a Mohjito Bar on freedom , really??

we spent a lot of time at the piano bar. (Aug 2010) great bar service and entertainment. the singer (i forget his name-dark hair with a pony tail) was great. very entertaining and fun.

We did the six night cruise on the Freedom and one night set up by the bar in the casino area was a mohjito bar waith many kinds to choose from if I remember another night they had a margarita bar set up. I love mohjitos and they were wonderful.

It was listed in the fun times. It only had set times it was in the early evening like five to eight or something like that. We stopped on our way to dinner. This is making me thirsty.

we met nightly at the Wine Bar before dinner. We LOVE Maria. (She's able to mix up cocktails, just not the blended frozen things). She makes the absolute BEST (and strongest) Margarita on the ship. :D

 

I didn't care for the piano bar, it was pretty dead on our cruise. The sports bar was pretty good, as was the lobby bar. Those are all that I recall specifically. (we did a bar crawl) :D

I didn't care for the piano bar, it was pretty dead on our cruise. The sports bar was pretty good, as was the lobby bar. Those are all that I recall specifically. (we did a bar crawl) :D

 

Guess we'll be giving Maria a visit, I LOVE margaritas!!

We also tended to follow the classic rock band around to whichever bar they were playing in, as we loved their music. My DH liked the wine bar also. On our last sailing on 3/27/11 on Glory, they only had the bloody mary and mimosa specials ($4.95 until noon) in the Lobby Bar and Casino Bar. I know we used to be able to get those specials at the pool bar on previous sailings. I assume this is the same across the fleet.

 

Freedom is a great ship. We did the 6 day itinerary last June and loved it (see review in signature!).

they don't! The group I was sailing with did a Poker Pub Crawl on one of our sea days.
