Cooking Academy on Freedom?

I am highly interested in this cooking academy they are offering on our Freedom cruise later this year. I don't remember them offering this 2 years ago.

Is the Chefmakers Cooking Academy something new they have added? Has anyone done it and what did you think? I am assuming it cost extra...

How long did it take and what time of day did they offer it? Do they offer it more than once per cruise?

It does cost extra and on our cruise it was cheaper to book on board than in advance. For some reason they don't have it as an option when book excursions etc so people don't really know about it.

 

If you want specific details, let me know. The Executive Chef did join us briefly for a photo op which was nice :)
