Does anyone have a good macaroni pie recipe ? We had it on a Glory Tour excursion. at the Sand Dunes or something like that. I have seen recipes on the internet, but the ingredients vary. Thanks so much!

Heck it's simply Mac & Cheese

except most local commercial food places are too cheap to put in the right amount of cheese :D

Wife says...

Make a medium-thick White Sauce, add lotsa Cheddar cheese

add it to cooked Macaroni (elbows, preferably)

salt to taste, topped with more cheese

-and bake!

We had it the year before last at the Sand Dunes pub on the same tour, we quite enjoyed it as well....almost forgot the the flying fish which were also delicious.:)
