Maybe someone has an idea about this hotel listed on Hotwire.

It is for Jan 21-22.

The listing says, 1.7-4.1 miles from city center {FLL}

Beach

Comp. breakfast

pool

restaurant

laundry

internet

It is listed as 3 star $100

Does this sound familiar?

I reference betterbidding.com for a look at hotwire hotels/review. I enjoy Hotwire and have found fabulous deals. What I would "guess" based on other comments would be the Bahia Mar.

So far this property doesn't seem like Bahia Mar because of the complimentarty breakfast. I tried googling 3 star hotels and it is a slow process but I am still looking. By the time I figure it out it will probably be gone :D

Why are you bothering with all this research? One of the benefits of using Hotwire or Priceline is the surprise factor. What you are doing is like trying to peek into your Christmas presents on December 23. Then comes Christmas morning and the anticipation and surprise factor are not there for you.

I hate surprises:D I need to plan the heck out of everything. Apperently I am not the only one since there are so many sites dedicated to just this thing.

Once in Hawaii I planned and plannned and picked the most perfect hotel and you know what? It was a horrible dive:eek: So, even with all my planning sometimes you get a dud.

I am taking my adult kids for their first ever cruise and I just want them to have a great experience. I know that sometimes it is the cazy stuff that happens that keeps you talking about it long after you have forgotten the good stuff.

BTW, the property looks like the Best Western Oceanside
