Okay so here is a list I found - It isn't exactly what I or some others would bring but it seems pretty complete to pick and choose from.

 

CRUISE PACKING LIST

 

I’m sure everyone knows they must pack clothes, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and makeup), shoes, formal wear, travel documents, money and credit cards. Here are a few items you might need that you may not have thought about.

One more suggestion for us OCD packers. Am taking a couple of small collapsible storage boxes/containers from the dollar store to help corral all the miscellaneous stuff that seems to accumulate - one for me, one for DH. They're pretty flimsy, but don't plan on bringing them home. Thought they also might be useful in the drawers.

Everyone has covered mostly everything. One thing I can't go without are vitamins.

The ONE time I forgot to take my vitamins, I caught a cold a day after I arrived back home. I'm not saying this is the reason but it was mighty coincidental.

Definitely a jacket or sweat shirt. After a day in the sun, I froze in the theater/main show lounge. Oh, & tennis shoes, we cruised in the fall a couple of times, the waters were so rough, you would be gently slung from side to side & flip flops just didn't give us all the support that the tennis shoes did :D.

I love those, I have used them for DD and her friend many times, teenagers are messy and being girls they have lots of accessories.

I also have bought the laundry bags from the dollar store so that the girls can put their dirty clothes in them so they don't get put with clean clothes, or strewn over the floor. I have had to do laundry while on board it made it easy to carry to the laundryroom, the bags get thrown in as well and we start all over again. When I pack up to leave I cinch the top and put it in the suitcase, when I get home it goes right to the laundry room.

I agree. But I always bring one of those pop up hampers for the closet that folds up flat for the suitcase. On our last cruise, ours broke and I about died.

 

They may confiscate extension cords so I bring the outlet adapters only and never had a problem. I'll see if I can get a picture of it & post it.

Thats funny. My first cruise I did this. I put a pillow in one of those space bags that take all the air out and packed it. It went all the way to Hawaii with me and I planned on leaving the pillows there. I had no idea how comfy the beds were and how nice the pillows are. Never thought twice about it since. I always bring them to a hotel but not on cruises. I even have a temperpedic pillow at home but I don't use them on cruises. Especially Carnival's beds which are very comfy to me.

we just got off the Glory Sunday....if you you plan on doing laundry on the ship (we had a laundry room right down the hall, very convenient!) take a roll of quarters. $3.00 to run the washer and $3.00 for the dryer and it only takes quarters. Plus, I would take a little premeasured baggy of your fave detergent and a couple of dryer sheets. They only offer liquid fabric softener (who wants to set at the washer and wait to put that in!!??) and 2 diff kinds of detergent, also $1 in quarters.

 

I did laundry twice, I hate coming home with a case of dirty clothes. The washer is timed for 25 minutes, so just throw your stuff in there and come back! You get I think 90 minutes on the dryer but it didnt take nearly that long. I think it was like a half hour and my things were dry.

 

If youre leaving your cell phone off, be sure to take a wrist watch and always leave it on the ships time. Dont want to miss the boat! Have a wonderful trip!
